DIASPORA SAINT PAUL DE GRAND YOFF (DSPGY)

Tiling of the Basilica of Saint Paul of Grand Yoff

The Archbishop of Dakar, Monsignor André GUEYE, in charge of the construction project of the Basilica of Saint Paul of Grand Yoff, appeals to Catholics in the diaspora for the purchase of tiling and addresses us in these terms: The Catholic Church needs this church and it is time for it to be built within a reasonable timeframe. I take on the commitment and responsibility for its construction for the benefit of Grand Yoff and the entire Archdiocese of Dakar. That is why I am appealing to your generosity to complete this project, which will be the largest gathering place due to its capacity. For this, I ask that the community of Grand Yoff be mobilised first, as well as all Senegalese Catholics in the diaspora and all goodwill. Despite the words of the past, I urge you to turn this page and see the future in a positive light to move forward, as other projects await us and it is for this reason that I am calling upon you. We are responding favourably to this call and we are mobilising without fail to achieve this objective. It is a mission, but also a challenge to be met. Any donation can benefit from a tax receipt that will allow a tax deduction for residents in France. Thank you for your generosity.
