Eco-construction, bioclimatic housing and preservation of traditional skills: support our first earth restoration project in Morocco.

Oasis Terre et Eau is a French non-profit organisation (law 1901) committed to ecological transition, solidarity and the resilience of territories.

Our mission is to promote, develop and support ecological and solidarity initiatives, to encourage eco-construction and bioclimatic housing, and to promote the use of local and sustainable materials, including raw earth bricks (BTC), rammed earth and traditional earth construction techniques.

We aim to develop concrete solutions for adapting to extreme heat, drought and the effects of climate change, while promoting water preservation, the transmission of skills, the training of young people and the valorisation of local artisans' expertise.

Our first project: House 01, near Guelmim, in Morocco.

We are preparing the restoration of a traditional earth house, set to become a demonstration, training and awareness-raising centre for eco-construction.

This project aims to preserve threatened architectural heritage, transmit traditional construction techniques, experiment with bioclimatic solutions adapted to local conditions and support artisans and young people in acquiring sustainable skills.

The final house is yet to be selected and work has not begun.

Our first campaign: €12,000.

This amount will fund the first phase of restoration, including roofs, walls, traditional renders, joinery, essential equipment and logistics.

The budget is provisional and will be adjusted after technical diagnostics and quotes.

The €12,000 is the overall collection target for the association for this first phase, across all platforms.

A first phase of renovating the house: roof, walls and foundations, traditional render, joinery and floors, plumbing, electricity and sanitary facilities, transport of materials and contingencies. Estimated budget of €12,000, not including final quotes. Donations are allocated to this project and tracked by the association.
