In Ireland, donors claim nothing themselves: your association reclaims the tax on donations of at least €250 a year, if it is approved by Revenue.

Yes. Any association based in Ireland (sports club, school, cultural or community group, charity, religious community) can create its account, take donations by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Revolut Pay, and use fundraisers, QR codes, ticketing and memberships. The website and the app are available in English.
Nothing: €0 subscription and 0% Donoor commission. Only Stripe's fees apply, for example 1.5% + €0.25 for a donation by European card, and your donors can choose to cover them.
Payment through the Revolut app, widely used in Ireland: the donor confirms the donation in their app, without typing a card number. Donoor turns it on by default for Irish associations, for one-off donations. You can turn it off in your settings.
If it is incorporated as a company (CLG), by its CRO number: Donoor finds it by name in the companies register, published as open data, and checks it straight away. A charity enters its RCN, which the Donoor team checks. A club or association that is not incorporated is checked by the team from its documents.
Yes, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and by SEPA Direct Debit if you turn it on: donors manage their monthly donation themselves. Revolut Pay is for one-off donations only.
When a donor gives at least €250 in a year to a body approved by Revenue (approved charity, school, university…), that body reclaims 44.93% of the donation from Revenue, up to the tax the donor has paid. The donor gains nothing themselves: they fill in a Revenue certificate with their PPSN and give it to the association, which makes the claim on ROS. Membership fees are excluded.
No. Donoor does not collect your donors' PPSNs and does not file anything with Revenue: your association receives the certificates and makes the claim itself. Each donor's donations are listed in your dashboard and your exports to help you prepare it.
To your association's Stripe account, then to its bank account. Donoor never holds the funds.
Create your association's account on Donoor and type its name or its CRO number, or enter its RCN if it is a charity. Then connect Stripe to receive payments. PayPal is not yet available in Ireland.
Yes, like any association: donations by card, Revolut Pay, QR codes and Tap to Pay. If it is approved by Revenue as an eligible body, donors who give at least €250 a year also let it reclaim tax under the Charitable Donation Scheme.
