What can I track on the dashboard, and how do I export my data?

The home screen of your dashboard shows the key figures of your fundraising in real time: the total raised, the trend of your donations, your payouts and an overview of your statistics. The Donations and Donors lists can also be exported to Excel, CSV or PDF depending on the page, so you can open them in a spreadsheet or pass them on to your treasurer.

What you can see and export depends on your rights within your association's team: a volunteer can follow the activity without necessarily seeing the amounts or exporting the data.

What the home screen shows

The home page brings together several blocks, updated automatically with each new donation or payout:

  • Total raised: the net amount collected since the start of your fundraising. The See revenue details button opens your list of donations directly.
  • Net donation volume: a chart by Days, Months or Years, with a Forecast that estimates, based on the recent trend, when the current period is likely to end.
  • Statistics: the Average donation, the share of Fees covered by your donors and what this allows you to « Save ».
  • Pending payouts: what has already arrived in your account and what is on its way, with a See payouts button. The full details of the timeframes are explained in When do I receive donations?
  • Referrals: the number of associations you have referred and the related earnings, if you use this programme.

Good to know: the Days period on the chart corresponds to the current week, Months to the current calendar year, and Years to the last five years. A start of week or year therefore naturally shows fewer data points.

For a complete guided tour of this screen, follow the Getting to grips with the dashboard module of the Getting Started course.

The Donations and Donors lists

To go further than the home screen, open the Fundraising menu:

  • Donations: the list of all donations received, with their date, amount and status. Click on a row to open the details of a donation.
  • Donors: four key figures at the top of the page (Donors, Amount raised, Active donors and Active subscriptions for ongoing monthly donations), followed by your list of donors.

These two pages require specific rights within the team: the ability to view donations for the first, and the ability to view donors for the second. Without this right, the page shows an access denied message instead of data.

Exporting your donations and donors

On the Donations and Donors pages, an Export button opens an Export format menu where you choose the file to download:

PageAvailable formats
DonationsExcel (.xlsx), CSV (.csv) and PDF (.pdf)
DonorsExcel (.xlsx) and CSV (.csv)
  1. Open the Donations or Donors page under Fundraising.
  2. Click Export, at the top right of the page.
  3. Choose the format from the Export format menu.
  4. The file downloads to your device.

Other pages on Donoor offer their own export: the participant list for an event (see How do I manage and export the participant list?) and the member list for a membership campaign (see How do I track and validate my members' memberships?).

Who can see and export the data

Within your association's team, each role has different default rights over amounts and exports:

RoleView donations and donorsView amounts and exportView payouts
Owner, AdministratorYesYesYes
Volunteer, MemberYes, without amountsNo, unless you tick the rightNo

These rights can be customised member by member from the team settings: see How do I invite my team members and manage their rights?

Important: a volunteer or member without the right to view amounts can see the list of donations and donors, but not the sums or the Export button.

Checking these figures from your phone

The Donoor mobile app displays the same totals and donation curve as the dashboard, updated in real time, and adds a notification for each important event. The details of what the app allows you to do are explained in What can I do with the Donoor mobile app?
