All of HelloAsso's tools, but better: QR codes, Tap to Pay, fundraisers, tax receipts. And above all, every donation goes straight into your organisation's bank account.

Like HelloAsso, Donoor is free. The difference: donations arrive directly into the organisation's account via Stripe or PayPal (never blocked), and Donoor offers Tap to Pay on iPhone.

Donations go directly to your organisation's bank account via Stripe Connect or PayPal. Donoor never holds your funds: no blocked fundraisers, no payout delays.
Tap to Pay on iPhone, unlimited QR codes, payment links, multi-access team management, donation terminals. Everything you need to fundraise online and in the field.
For eligible organisations that have activated the service, CERFA tax receipts are generated and emailed automatically to each donor. Zero paperwork for you and your donors.
Track your fundraisers in real time. Clear interface, precise statistics, data export.

This is THE structural difference between the two platforms. With HelloAsso, funds pass through an intermediary payment account before being paid out to the organisation. With Donoor, there is no intermediary: each donation is collected directly into your organisation's Stripe or PayPal account, then transferred to your bank account.
Non-custodial model
Donoor never touches your money: funds do not pass through any intermediary account
Automatic payouts
To your bank account every 7 days via Stripe or PayPal, with no action required
You stay in control
Your Stripe or PayPal account belongs to you, even if you leave Donoor

This is the feature HelloAsso does not offer on iPhone. With Donoor, a volunteer's iPhone collects donations contactlessly: the donor holds up their card or phone, and it's paid. No card terminal to buy, no device to rent, no cash register to manage.
Zero hardware
An iPhone (XS or newer) is all you need, no card terminal to buy or rent
All payment methods
Bank card, Apple Pay or the donor's phone, contactless in 3 seconds
Every volunteer becomes a collection point
Equip your whole team: as many iPhones, as many mobile tills
Switching platform is not a decision to take lightly when memberships and recurring donations are involved. We have documented the full process: creating your Stripe or PayPal account, transferring your fundraising pages, informing your donors, switching over membership fees. Most organisations migrate in less than a week, without any interruption to fundraising.

Donoor is a complete, 100% free solution for organisations. Funds raised go directly to the organisation's account via Stripe Connect or PayPal: no intermediary holds your funds, no blocked fundraisers, no payout delays. Donoor also offers unlimited QR codes, Tap to Pay NFC, payment links, multi-access team management, automatic CERFA tax receipts for eligible organisations and responsive human support.
No. Donations are paid directly into the organisation's bank account via Stripe Connect or PayPal, without passing through a Donoor account. You keep full control of your funds, with no risk of blocked fundraisers or payout delays.
Migration is simple: create a Donoor account in 5 minutes, generate your new QR codes and payment links, then replace your old links. Funds raised will go directly to your organisation's bank account.
Donoor covers all donation collection needs: unlimited QR codes, Tap to Pay NFC, payment links, online fundraisers, team management, automatic tax receipts for eligible organisations and a dashboard. Ticketing and membership features are also available.
Both platforms are free for the organisation (no subscription and no commission), and both offer the donor an optional contribution at the time of payment. The real differences lie elsewhere. First, the flow of money: with HelloAsso, funds pass through an intermediate payment account before being paid out; with Donoor, each donation is collected directly into your organisation's Stripe or PayPal account, so your funds depend on no one. Second, field tools: Tap to Pay on iPhone (accepting contactless payments on a volunteer's phone, without a card terminal) is exclusive to Donoor, as HelloAsso only offers contactless payment on Android, and the same goes for physical donation kiosks.
Recurring direct debits set up on HelloAsso cannot be transferred automatically: they are linked to the HelloAsso payment account. When migrating to Donoor, you need to invite your regular donors to set up their monthly donation again on your new page. An email with your new link is enough in most cases. This is the most sensitive step of the migration, which is why our guide recommends a transition period: you keep the existing direct debits active while your donors switch over, then you close the HelloAsso account. As for your members, they naturally sign up again when their annual membership fee is renewed.
